Welcome to Toy Fest, proudly Canterbury owned and operated.

Toy Fest was started after the birth of my son. I completed my education without anyone identifying that I am dyslexic.

When I found out I was pregnant I began to read a lot about dyslexia and found that the latest research showed that there is a strong correlation to missing important milestones and learning disabilities.

I was determined to provide my child with all the necessary resources to ensure those milestones were met. After struggling to find the resources I needed I decided to source them for myself. And that was the beginning of Toy Fest.

Prior to starting Toy Fest I completed my Two Degree at Canterbury University (Bachelor of Commerce) and Christchurch Polytechnic (Bachelor of Japanese). Then was fortunate to be employed by Coca-Cola Amatil NZ and then Griffins.

Today, Toy Fest continues to specialise in selling high quality educational toys and resources, as well as niche products not commonly found in the Retail market.

Toy Fest is also the New Zealand Distributor of the incredible Kids Safari Dress Up Range.
